It was glee, glamour and gaiety galore as Ambassador H.E Mr. Pham Anh Tuan of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam threw wide his hands and hugs as he welcomed distinguished diplomats, other foreign nationals and envoys, and Nigerians from all sectoral spheres, on his country’s 73rd National Day, celebrated at the Nigeria’s capital Sheraton Hotels & Towers Ladi Kwali Conference Hall, in Abuja.
Nigeria and Vietnam are partners in progress. Nigeria places a high value on its enduring friendship and ties with Vietnam, and a reciprocal relationship is also witnessed as both nations share a mutual commitment to democracy, human rights,
social justice, rule of law, trade growths, peace processes, and attainments. Together both countries are ambitiously working in the promotions of national advancement, socio-cultural advancement and equipping their youths with the knowledge and skills for increased economic prosperity and greater national improvements. Nigeria recognizes and appreciates the many laudable contributions of Vietnam in the land. Mr. President and the Nigerian People wish you many more celebrations in joy and developments and offer condolences on the demise of a gallant, loving and highly respected national leader, the former Vietnamese President, Late (Mr) Quang Tran Dai.
