The ambience was safe, non-violent, accessible, illuminating, and energizing. The nexus between the people and the environment needed to drive a successful assemblage and outcome was inexpressible and magnetic. Over 10000 attendees including organisers, exhibitors, suppliers, journalists, event professionals and visitors in diverse business backgrounds across 70 nations gathered in joyous, business-like, expectant moods in Frankfurt, Germany, á city and country reputed as one of the most welcoming and accommodating in the world.
Acclaim Nigeria Staff at IMEX in Frankfurt
It is the Post-Covid era, a happy time as peoples’ movements were no longer restricted and the event was the 2023 IMEX-Frankfurt, one of the world’s trade shows for the meetings, incentive, conferences and events in Europe taking place at the Frankfurt-Messe, Germany. The 2023 edition themed Human Nature, also had 6 education tracks namely: Technology & Innovation, Trends & Research, Experience Design & Event Marketing, Business Practices, People & Planet, and a robust media/press centre for journalists’ meetings and briefings.
For international visitors through the Frankfurt international airport, the warm-welcomes from IMEX greeters right from the airport and line-up of buses to convey straight to the centre showed IMEX care-arrangement and comfortability for its international participants were motivating. The availability of health and security checks, varied locations and lockers for safe-keeping of participants’ valuables and baggage, cafeterias, restaurants and food vendors to provide good meals and refreshments at great discounted prices, soft musical renditions to ease pressures, a free wifi environment for internet connectivity, diverse human comforts and zero-stress environment measures for enjoyability and efficiency are commendable.
The setting and scenery of the main exhibition halls were alluring. The lightings, aesthetics, decorations. fittings and various booths planning blended very well. Nation after nation, company after company exhibited very professionally and showcased captivating stands, and professional staff; each displaying wide range of products, services and brands tor buyers and visitors’ patronage and purchases/payments.
Various country representatives also did their best in positively projecting their country and flying its flag higher. The different booths and desks were all busying attending, meeting and sometimes surpassing customers and clients’ expectations and demands. The contacts and networks established both at personal and corporate fronts are lifetime gains.
Acclaim Nigeria International Magazine, ANIM, a regular and known press-participant/partner of IMEX events was also not left out as it joined other global media organisations and journalists to attend and cover the trade fair. ANIM media coverage was comprehensive: covering stands & booths, participating in programmes, interacting with organisers, exhibitors, buyers and visitors, and conducting interviews. ANIM also made Nigeria proud at various levels of involvements.
