Raised by a respected Spanish diplomat father who served his homeland meritoriously before retirement, Mr. Daniel Losada Millar is a budding career diplomat and one of Spain’s Foreign Affairs Service shinning stars, well trained and deployed to continually Project Spain for global recognition and engagements.

Having served in Afghanistan, Iraq, Mexico and now as the Consul General in Nigeria, the Law and Economic graduate is further positioning the Consulate General of Spain in Lagos for improved and commendable spotlight. His remarkable works in Nigeria can also be traceable to his growing up days as a student when his father was the Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria, an opportunity that afforded him acquisition of extensive knowledge of the Nigerian clime, mix with people and Nigerian friends made during school days and holidays travel and tours time. Serving now as a senior diplomat in the country years later, he is equipped with experience and the familiarization that are now translating to bettering lives, improving societies and fostering national transformation.

A man of vision, vigor and visibility, with testimonies abounding of his roles and relations Consul General Daniel Losada Millar is applauded in many circles of his coverage areas as one ready to listen, a partner of progress who through his good office is enabling many Nigerians access the required capacity building needed to achieve their aspirations while also rapidly advancing productive bilateral cooperation.  

The Consul-General consideration and choice were based on his Outstanding Leadership, Contributions to Nation Building Works, Promotion of Bilateral Ties and support for Nigerian Journalists and Media development in Nigeria .

While receiving the award at his office in Lagos, the Consul General expresses great delight for choosing him stating that the recognition will spur more works of diplomacy & development, motivate the Consulate to go the extra mile in its services and activities and deepens Spain-Nigeria friendship on all fronts. For him enhancing humanity safety, freedom and comfortability and improving the planet are worthy pursuits of everyone. He also urged Nigerians at all works of life to see the Nigerian Project as an important task and continue to contribute to the nation’s progress and perpetuity.
